“Two dozen people linked to Epstein, murdered to keep them quiet” is a meme. Grade the names one at a time and it collapses into something narrower, more careful — and in a couple of cases, genuinely unresolved.
This is the discipline the body-count lists skip: every death graded on its own record, the connection to Epstein weighed honestly, the cancers and overdoses separated from the cases that actually raise questions. What survives is not a secret assassination program — there is no evidence of that — but a real pattern worth stating plainly, and a refusal to let a meme use grieving families and dead victims as props.

Every time someone connected to Jeffrey Epstein dies, the “body count” lists grow — now more than two dozen names, offered as proof of a serial campaign to silence witnesses. We went through the roster name by name. The honest result is three very different piles.
One death — Epstein’s own — carries real forensic and custodial smoke: unusual neck fractures, cameras that failed, guards who falsified their logs. A small cluster of genuinely connected people died by ruled suicide under circumstances worth noting: the co-defendant Jean-Luc Brunel in his cell, the Clinton aide Mark Middleton in a strange scene, and now the whistleblower who had just exposed a Trump cabinet secretary’s Epstein ties. And then the large remainder: cancers, COVID, an accidental overdose, deaths in sleep — ordinary ends that the meme sweeps up to inflate the number, several of them people only loosely tied to Epstein at all.
So we grade the one with smoke as smoke, the suicides as suicides with the open questions attached, and the padding as what it is. The unified claim — that these were all murders — is pure speculation, and we say so. The real scandal is quieter and harder to dismiss: the deaths that deserved an independent, aggressive investigation never got one.

Three piles, graded on the record
Tier A — the deaths with real open questions. Tier B — the victims the meme exploits. Tier C — the padding. Then the verdict on the number itself.
Tier A · Jeffrey Epstein (2019) — the only death with real forensic smoke.
SOME SMOKEEpstein was found dead in his cell at Manhattan's Metropolitan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019; the New York City Medical Examiner ruled it a suicide by hanging, and stands by that ruling. But the doubts are documented, not invented: the autopsy found three neck fractures, including the hyoid, which the forensic pathologist Michael Baden (retained by Epstein's brother, who observed the autopsy) called 'more consistent with homicidal strangulation'; the cell cameras malfunctioned; and the two guards on duty falsified their records and were criminally charged. The official ruling is suicide (FACT) and the DOJ Inspector General later found negligence rather than murder — but 'he was murdered' remains SOME SMOKE: a genuinely unresolved death, the one case on this list where the physical and custodial record earns the suspicion.
Tier A · Brunel and Middleton — ruled suicides, circumstances worth noting.
SOME SMOKETwo more genuinely connected figures, both ruled suicides, both with details that keep the question open. Jean-Luc Brunel — the French modeling agent accused of recruiting and raping girls for Epstein — was found hanged in his Paris cell in February 2022 while awaiting trial, the second central defendant to die in custody before testimony. Mark Middleton — the Clinton White House aide who personally signed Epstein into the West Wing — was found in May 2022 at an Arkansas ranch hanging from a tree with a shotgun wound to his chest, no weapon recovered near the body; law enforcement and his family ruled it suicide (PolitiFact confirmed the ruling). We grade both SOME SMOKE: the rulings stand and we don't overturn them, but a key defendant dead in his cell and a witness found in a scene that strange are exactly the deaths a serious system would investigate hard — and largely didn't.
Tier A · Simon Andriesz (2026) — the whistleblower, dead as his disclosure went live.
SOME SMOKEThe most recent name, and the one that prompted this ledger. Simon Andriesz, a British former banker who had worked under Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, searched the Justice Department's released Epstein files for Lutnick's initials, found a 2018 email chain between the two, and took the allegation of undeclared Epstein ties to the FBI (2020–2021) and to Congress. He was reported to have died by suicide in early October 2026, at 57 — just as a House Oversight letter to Lutnick about Epstein was live. We grade it SOME SMOKE, and only on the timing: the reporting cites no official cause of death and no evidence linking it to Lutnick, Epstein, or his disclosures. A suspicious coincidence is not proof; it is a reason to ask that the death be examined properly. His disclosure connects to our coverage of Lutnick's network.
Tier B · The victims the meme exploits — these were not hits.
FALSE / MISLEADINGTwo of the most-cited names are Epstein's own victims, and turning their deaths into assassinations is both unsupported and cruel. Virginia Giuffre — the movement's most prominent accuser — died at her Western Australia farm in April 2025; police deemed the death non-suspicious and her family attributed it to the unbearable, lifelong toll of her abuse. Carolyn Andriano, who testified against Ghislaine Maxwell, died in West Palm Beach in 2023 of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, methadone, and alprazolam — a trauma death, documented as such. Calling either a murder is FALSE / MISLEADING: there is no evidence for it, and it uses survivors as props for a theory. The honest, heavier fact is that Epstein's abuse kept killing its victims long after he was gone.
Tier C · The padding: cancers, COVID, and deaths in sleep.
FALSE / MISLEADINGMost of the roster is ordinary mortality, swept up to reach 'two dozen.' Alfredo Rodriguez, Epstein's butler, died of mesothelioma (cancer) in 2014. Steven Hoffenberg, his Ponzi-scheme partner — a real associate — was found decomposed in 2022 with no signs of trauma, cause undetermined. Efrain 'Stone' Reyes, his last cellmate, died of COVID in 2021 after release. The detective Joe Recarey (2018) and journalist John Connolly (2022) died of illness. Former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson died of natural causes in his sleep in 2023. Producer Steve Bing died by suicide in 2020 with documented depression and only a tangential Epstein link. And French scout Daniel Siad, found dead near Paris in 2026, is not even a suicide — his lawyer suspects a heart attack and the cause is undetermined. Labeling any of these 'murders' is FALSE / MISLEADING.
The verdict: 'two dozen murdered to stay silent' — pure speculation.
PURE SPECULATIONAdd it up. Of roughly twenty-two names, exactly one death (Epstein's) carries real forensic and custodial smoke; a few more are ruled suicides of genuinely connected people, each with a non-conspiracy explanation available; the rest are natural, accidental, or illness deaths, several only loosely tied to Epstein. There is no evidence of a unified campaign of killings, so the claim that these are all assassinations is PURE SPECULATION and we refuse to launder it. But refusing the inflated number is not the same as clearing the field: the handful of deaths with genuine questions — Epstein's above all — have never received the independent, adversarial investigation they plainly warranted. That absence is the documented scandal. The meme's number is false; the meme's unease is not baseless.
The number is false. The unease is earned.
The Epstein Class hub is about a network of power that has repeatedly escaped accountability. The “body count” meme is, in a way, a symptom of that escape: when the most consequential sex-trafficking case in modern memory keeps ending in sealed files, unindicted names, and a central figure dead in a federal cell with the cameras off, people fill the vacuum with a hit-list theory — and that theory, by overreaching, becomes easy to dismiss, which conveniently discredits the real questions along with the fake ones. Our job is to separate them. The honest ledger says: there is no proven murder program, and the deaths of traumatized victims are not evidence of one. It also says that Epstein’s own death, Brunel’s in custody, and a whistleblower dying as his disclosure landed are precisely the events a functioning system would have investigated to the ground — and that the failure to do so is the pattern the The Untouchables hub keeps finding. Questions worth taking seriously
Is there an 'Epstein kill list'?
No evidence of one, and we grade the unified theory as pure speculation. Graded individually: one death (Epstein’s) has real forensic smoke, a few are ruled suicides of connected people with open questions, and most are cancers, COVID, overdoses, and natural deaths. The “two dozen murders” number doesn’t survive contact with the records.
Was Virginia Giuffre murdered?
No. Police deemed her death non-suspicious, and her family tied it to the lifelong trauma of her abuse. She was a survivor, not a loose end — and folding her death into a hit list is both unsupported by any evidence and a cruel use of a real victim. We fence that claim as false.
If most of it is a myth, is there really anything here?
Yes — just narrower than the meme. Epstein’s own death has never been credibly resolved; a key co-defendant died in his cell before trial; and a whistleblower died just as his disclosure went public. None of those got an independent, adversarial investigation. The documented scandal isn’t a secret death squad — it’s that the cases with real questions were allowed to go cold.
