A big, disgusting, bipartisan club, and you ain’t in it.
With apologies to George Carlin, who said it first, and louder.
A pointer, not a hub
This site documents overlapping American power networks — how billionaire finance, intelligence services, elite academia, mass media, organized crime, and the political class have been working in concert for decades to consolidate power and immunize it from accountability. We call the whole thing “the Club.” George Carlin’s phrase, not ours.
The site is organized into seven long-form investigative hubs, each one a chronological reconstruction of a specific slice of that world. Any hub read in isolation is a serious story on its own. But some of them, read together and in the right order, make the interconnection almost impossible to miss.
This page is that reading list. Five hubs, in the order we think they land hardest. Start with The Epstein Class.
Where the interconnection is thickest
Five hubs, in the order we recommend reading them. Each entry names why it belongs on this list and the time span it covers. Every claim, grade, and source lives on the target hub.
- 01 · The archetype · 1985–presentThe Epstein Class →
The clearest single case study in the interconnection of billionaire finance, foreign intelligence, elite academia, mass media, and the political class. If the Club has a mascot, this is where it lives.
- 02 · The doctrine · 1920–presentThe Dulles Blueprint →
The century-long operating manual for how private wealth, Wall Street law firms, the CIA, and covert action get co-produced. Every hub on this list traces some of its plumbing back to Sullivan & Cromwell and the OSS.
- 03 · The foreign-state overlay · 1948–presentIsraeli Influence on the U.S. →
The most documented, least discussed foreign-state relationship in American politics. The AIPAC/JINSA/CUFI stack, the Israeli intelligence cutouts, and the private-sector philanthropic vehicles that connect the Epstein Class and the CIA layer to a foreign government.
- 04 · The covert-action layer · 1947–presentCIA Crimes →
The rap sheet. MKULTRA, Phoenix, Iran-Contra, the Church Committee record, the drug-flow evidence, the assassination programs. The line item under which most of the Club’s dirtiest work has been operationally logged.
- 05 · The domestic capture layer · post-WWII to presentSelf-Dealing & Crony Capitalism →
How the Club feeds. The regulatory revolving door, the private-equity carve-outs, the family-office tax structures, the sweetheart contracts, the bipartisan graft. This is where the money actually gets moved.
We are not saying there is a single boardroom or a single roster. “The Club” is shorthand for a set of overlapping networks whose members mostly know each other, mostly move between the same institutions, and mostly protect each other in public. It is not a conspiracy in the parlor sense. It is a pattern in the record.
We are not saying every person named on the linked hubs is a witting participant in any coordinated scheme. Some are. Some are useful idiots. Some are simply beneficiaries of a system whose incentives they understand and exploit without needing to organize.
We are not saying that reading five hubs will make you understand how power actually works in the United States. It will make you understand a substantial slice of it.
The three hubs not curated here are no less important. They cover adjacent terrain that the Club depends on:
- Military Grift → · the defense-industry racket that funds the covert layer
- Surveillance State(s) and the Criminalization of Dissent → · the domestic instrument the Club uses to see and steer, plus the enforcement layer that criminalizes protest, press, and dissent
- The Pretoria Playbook → · the South-African apartheid-era template that keeps resurfacing
