One playbook, many borders — the transnational network of shared operatives, a franchised U.S. conference, a global think-tank machine, and a would-be strategist that moves the far-right project across national lines. Documented ties, graded case by case.
The modern far right is a network, not a set of separate national stories: the same operatives, the same U.S. brand, the same funding institutions, and the same fraud-narrative tactic recur across countries.
We document the specific, sourced ties — and refuse the 'single command structure / secret pipeline' claims that get made loudest and proved least.
The operative: one man, four countries — Fernando Cerimedo.
Main strategist behind Milei's 2023 Argentine campaign; 'personal consultant' to Bolivia's Paz; Eduardo Bolsonaro ally; The Economist's 'MAGA's man in Latin America,' credited with Trump's endorsement of Honduras's Asfura. He ran the false 2022 Brazil e-voting 'fraud' livestream and was named a coup-probe co-conspirator — and in Aug 2026 was jailed in Bolivia, accused of ordering a shooting (charged, not convicted). The résumé and record = FACT; the attack = charged.
The conference: CPAC franchised across four continents.
The American Conservative Union has taken its flagship CPAC brand global — Brazil, Hungary, Australia, Japan, Korea, Israel, Mexico — a shared stage headlined by Jair and Eduardo Bolsonaro and by Viktor Orbán (who used CPAC Hungary to preach 'Make Europe Great Again' and urge coordination, the same year he keynoted CPAC Texas). A networking-and-legitimacy circuit; not, we say, a single command chain.
Atlas Network (founded 1981 by Antony Fisher; ~$24M revenue, 2024) funds and trains roughly 600 institutes across 100+ countries — 'a think tank that creates think tanks,' with Hayek/Thatcher/Friedman lineage and Koch-affiliated funding. Reporting ties Atlas-affiliated groups to right-wing movements abroad (e.g., Brazil) — attributed, the institutional layer under the network.

The strategist: Bannon's export project — attempted, and mostly failed.
Bannon openly tried to build the international: 'The Movement' (Brussels, 2018) to unite Europe's populist right for the 2019 EU elections; the Trisulti monastery 'academy' to train nationalists (Reuters-documented curriculum role) — which collapsed when the Dignitatis Humanae Institute was evicted in 2021 and its chairman jailed for corruption; and a self-described Latin America role via the Bolsonaros. The efforts and ties are FACT; the grand alliance largely flopped, and we say so.
The signature tactic is the manufactured 'stolen election.'
The network's tell is the pre-emptive fraud narrative — deployed in Brazil in 2022 (modeled on the U.S. in 2020) to delegitimize a result before it arrives and justify what follows. Cerimedo's livestreamed false claims about Brazil's electronic voting are the documented case; the January 2023 attempt to overturn that election is where it led.
How this hub is graded.
- FACT: specific, sourced ties — a strategist across four countries; a U.S. conference franchised abroad with Bolsonaro/Orbán; a 600-institute think-tank network; Bannon's documented (if failed) projects; a manufactured fraud narrative; a coup-attempt filing; an arrest.

Why it matters.
The far-right surge is treated as a series of national accidents; it is better understood as a connected project with a mobile cast, a shared stage, an ideas machine, and a common playbook. Documenting the real ties — and refusing the embellishments — is how you make the case survive scrutiny.
