How we use this channel

Every submission is read. We reply to correction requests and right-of-response submissions. We publish responses verbatim alongside the original claim, with the sender identified and the date of receipt, unless the sender explicitly requests otherwise.

• Corrections — include the URL, the specific claim, and the document that contradicts us.
• Right of response — if you are named on a page, or are a party materially affected by the claims made there, tell us what you want on the record.
• Tips and documents — share primary sources, court filings, whistleblower disclosures, or leads worth chasing. We treat sources as sources.
• Contributor applications — apply to join our contributor program. Contributors submit leads and primary sources through a structured pipeline; every submission runs through our standard grading process before publication.
• Other — press, speaking, syndication, or general questions.

Send a message

The form is the only channel. There is no listed email address because unmonitored addresses do more harm than good. Every submission requires a working email — we send a one-time verification code before your message goes through.

What happens after you submit

   Acknowledgment

   Correction requests and right-of-response submissions get an acknowledgment within a few days. Contributor applications get a decision within 10 business days. Tips and general questions get a reply when a reply is warranted.

2. 02

   Verification

   Every claim gets checked against primary sources. If your document changes the record, we run a public correction with the same prominence as the original piece.

3. 03

   Publication

   Right-of-response submissions are published verbatim alongside the original claim, with the sender identified and the date of receipt. Corrections update the affected page and are logged in the page's change log.
